Problem	Ocusystem not responding to foot switch.
Solution	The Foot pedal cord is properly connected to the stand. The 18 inch interconnecting cable is connected from the back of the machine to the back of the stand. The pins in the Foot pedal plug are not broken. The Foot pedal cable is not torn or wires exposed. All indicator lights (right hand side of machine front panel) follow foot switch positions.

Problem	No Reflux.
Solution	Check that the plate in the hood of the foot pedal is in the proper position and activates the switch. Fix the plate by pushing it in the proper position. Make sure that there is fluid in the aspiration line, no air.

Problem	Advantage not responding to foot switch.
Solution	The Foot pedal cord is properly connected to the stand. The 18 inch interconnecting cable is connected from the back of the machine to the back of the stand. The pins in the Foot pedal plug are not broken. Check the Foot pedal cable for broken or exposed wires. All indicator lights (right hand side of machine front panel) follow foot switch positions.

Problem	Wrong Memory or Function.
Solution	Make sure the surgeon has not press the function and memory switches on the foot pedal.
